For the first time hosted a website in my own desktop computer

Since midnight last night I have been trying to do this...As this year 2018 comes to an end, I have achieved a lot during this year...All thanks are to Allah Subuhaanahu Wathala...

I for the very first time in my life, has hosted a website in my own computer...I have to read and research the internet to do this as I am new to this but it was very simple and easy...

I signed up for a basic free account at www.noip.com a provider of Dynamic DNS service since the IP address of my computer is not a static IP and it will keep changing...I downloaded the client software of No-IP® and set it up by signing with my No-IP® username and password...

I have to enable port forwarding in my Huawei® internet fiber router for my desktop computer system so that Microsoft® Internet Information Service™ server can connect to the outside internet through port 80 which is not disabled by Dhiraagu...

I have now tested by going to the address http://naheez.ddns.net ( which is the host name of my website provided by No-IP® ) and it displays the sample webpage I put in the wwwroot folder of the inetpub directory which is the folder of IIS™...

As usual and always I praise Allah...

Yesterday I again formatted my computer and now nearly finished installing the software's...I try to use genuine software's as much as I can lately...

Yesterday while I installed Git®, I also chose to install Sourcetree® which is a free GUI (Graphical User Interface) for Git®...From Sourcetree® I learnt and registered at GitLab® ( https://gitlab.com/naheez ) ...

I some weeks ago had used Mobirise®, which a free website build software...This morning I am using Mobirise® 4 and I have decided to use Mobirise® for designing my personal website www.guestworm.com ...

Mobirise® caused me to create a GitHub® page/website and it's located at https://naheez.github.io/naheez/ and my repository at GitHub® ( https://github.com/naheez ) has this project automatically created for my by Mobirise®...

I also chose to create a test site at Mobirise® ( https://naheez.mobirisesite.com )...

I hope very much that I am not violating the terms and conditions of service by these good companies...It's just an innocent effort to learn new things on my own...
