Male' Swimming Track

Just now came home after taking a few photos of Male' Swimming Track...

I learnt how to swim on 11 November 1991 (the Republic Day of Maldives) in these waters which was then not developed...Till 1998 I visit here for swimming almost regularly...

The rain is clearing now these days to Male' and the weather is sunny...

Dhiraagu Hot Spot

This is the very first time I connected to Dhiraagu Hot Spot and I am in Artificial Beach...

The first thing I did was to listen to Surah Al Fathiha recitation by Sheikh Khalil Al Hussary....

Right now, I am connecting using Dhiraagu Hot Spot in Arificial Beach...

The road to Usfasgandu has been opened

Today now the road to Usfasgandu from Dharubaaruge and Children's Garden has been opened...

This is the first time this road has been closed all these years for several months since late August till this late December of 2020...I have been walking on this road to Usfasgandu regularly since 1997 (that was even before Usfasgandu has been reclaimed) and it's now 23 years gone by for these lonely walks especially in the nights...

All these 31 years since 1989 when I and my family shifted to our home, it has never been closed for such a long time...It was closed by STELCO due to a project...

I have been going to Usfasgandu from Dharubaaruge Bidha (Dharubaaruge Behind) all these months because this road has been closed...

Afternoon coffee in Cafe' Thaaseer

Today afternoon I had a half black coffee in Cafe' Thaaseer which is the only cafe' or hotaa (Dhivehi word for Cafe') in the south side of Boduthakurufaanu Magu and Male' too...

I have been visiting Cafe' Thaaseer since around 2018 almost regularly but even before that I have been visiting this cafe'.

A longtime ago they had a cafe' (also by the same name) near my home...

Dharubaaruge Bidha

Since from late August this year 2020, the road to Usfasgandu through Kudakudhinge Bageecha (Childrens Garden) and Dharubaaruge has been closed by STELCO for a project...

So all these days I have been visiting Usfasgandu from Dharubaaruge Bidha...
