IBM POWER and PowerPC processors and servers use AIX operating systems which is the IBM implimentation of the UNIX operating system.
IBM uses the POWER processors in all of it's supercomputers and mainframes.
While PowerPC microprocessors have also been fabricated by Motorola and used by Apple in the 1990's till mid 2000's, PowerPC processors were jointely developed by IBM, Motorola, and Apple and it's now only history.
