New year sunrise

This is the first post I am making this new year 2021 and also the first time I went to Usfasgandu this new year 2021.

Last night I slept around 6 PM and woke up at 9 PM and had a coffee in Henveiru Cafe' near my home...After that I didn't sleep and hanged in my home and out side my home...

I prayed Fajr prayers in the prayer gathering in Furuqaan Mosque and came back home and waited...When it was close to 6:00 AM I went to Usfasgandu and took photos of the beautiful sunrise...An aeroplane was going to land in Veylaana International Airport and after that a speed boat or launch was going in the waters...

Sunrise

Last night I slept around sunset/dusk and woke up at around 1:20 AM and then waited at home...After praying the dawn prayers in Shaheed Ali Mosque in the prayer gathering I had a walk near Dharubaaruge and came back home and again waited till sunrise...

I just now came back from Usfasgandu after taking these photos of the sunrise (which is now risen up)...The scene was breath taking and there were many people exercsing and jogging on Boduthakurufaanu Magu and Usfasgandu too...

Sunrise at Usfasgandu

The bad weather is gone and today till now it's sunny with bright sunshine...There is now no rain clouds and the sky is clear....

Yesterday I slept after 5 in the evening and woke up around 10:20 PM in the night and didn't sleep...I waited till dawn and prayed the Fajr prayers in the prayer gathering in Ibrahimi Mosque...

After coming home, again I waited till sunrise...Then I went to Usfasgandu and took these photos of sunrise on the pavement of the break water of Usfasgandu...A few photos were taken on the path way of Usfasgandu where motor cycles and people walk on to it...It's was so beautiful and breath taking...

Lonuziyaarai Park

Lonuziyaarai Park is the new park next to the bridge which was developed to replace the old Henveiru Park which in turn was destroyed due to the construction of the first bridge, Sinamale' Bridge of Male'...

Yesterday, which was the Republic Day of Maldives (Wednesday 11 November 2020) the park was officially opened by the current president of the Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih...The construction works was going on for more than about 2 years...

Now this whole area of Male' has changed and the old Henveiru Park is a  memory and as well as a  history...It's gone...

It was daybreak close to sun rise when I went to Lonuziyaarai Park and to my surprise it was open and the guards told me to enter...I took all these photos and selfies inside and a few of it outside of the park (I think only two photos were taken outside)...
